How to Use PickerBoard

PickerBoard is a live random picker where entries stay visible and the picker moves across the board. It is built for quick picks in classrooms, meetings, giveaways, games, and events.

Quick start

  1. Paste names, topics, prizes, or choices into the Entries box, one per line.
  2. Choose optional settings such as speed, board order, sound, or remove winner after pick.
  3. Press Start Pick.
  4. Watch the board pick a winner. The winner appears in the Winner area and in the popup.

Entries

Paste one entry per line. Spreadsheet rows from Excel or Google Sheets also work. PickerBoard uses up to 100 active entries per pick so the board stays readable.

List tools

Sample

Loads a demo list so you can test the picker quickly.

Clear list

Removes the current entries and winner history from the page.

Clear saved

Removes the list and settings saved in this browser.

Speed

Use Auto for a sensible default or choose a specific pick length from 5 to 30 seconds. Longer picks still move quickly at the start and then slow down for the reveal.

A-Z

Sorts entries alphabetically so people can find their names more easily.

Remix

Randomizes the display order without changing anyone’s odds.

Options

Winner history

The Winners list records results in order. Use Copy to copy the winner history or Clear to reset the history.

Saved in this browser only

PickerBoard can remember your entries and settings on the same device using browser storage. Your list is not uploaded to an account or public board.
